The scope of this role is to support the success of the Distribution Center that enables achievement of customer satisfaction and the operational and financial targets for the VTBA Distribution Center EMEA Region.

The Supply Planner role requires planning, priority setting, competing priorities and customer focus. This is a crucial role between Customer Centres, Distribution Centres, Service Technology Centres, Product Companies to support the VTBA Distribution Center EMEA to set the most appropriate Inventory Management Tools with a strong focus to fulfil our customer needs.

Efficient and effective planning is only possible with the correct parameters. You will recognize temporal deviations and adjust the parameters proactively to ensure optimal service. You will play a leading role in solving problems that may affect the availability of materials. In your position you will therefore work closely with various departments within the Atlas Copco Group.

In addition to the daily operating process, you are constantly paying attention to potential risks and opportunities and to make suggestions for improvement. You will also participate in several Projects.

Be an active, dynamic member of the Distribution Center (DC) EMEA Team.

Responsibilities:

In the new formed legal entity in Belgium for the Distribution Center activities in EMEA Region you are responsible for all Supply Planning activities within this entity.Establish daily, monthly and quarterly inventory control processes (like Review Overdues, adjust Stocking parameters, Aging Stock Cleanup, etc.)frequently negotiation on Inventory Levels incl. participation in monthly S OP Meetings with Divisional Logistics Managers of VTBA and in agreement with PTD on capacity planningSlow Moving / Obsolete Inventory Management with problem – solving activities together with Divisional Logistics Managers and Customer Centre.Managing of all inventory and planning parameters in SAP (e.g. factored goods)Maintain of Material Master Data in VTBA SAP with interface to PTDFollow up on out of stock inventory together with the relevant Product Companies.Error and Exception Management together with Customer Centers and Product Companies.Setting stocking policy for externally sourced materialsrun the applications to review, generate and to update forecast in SAP (e.g. factored goods)Set and Control Cycle counting rules.

Requirements:

Experience requirement:

deep Planning experience in a manufacturing companyProcurement experience is also preferredSupplier Management and good knowledge on LogisticsAdvanced knowledge in SAP3+yrs of work experience in a fast paced, change oriented manufacturing or logistics environment

Educational requirement:

You have a university degree in Economics or Supply ChainAny equivalent commercial study will be considered or several years of relevant working experience
